Jeannie Kilgour's Big Shot "Sandwich" for the non-embossed centre
Here's the sandwich:
I cut the 'scalloped circle' bigz die using chipboard. This die cuts a medium and small scallop circle at the same time so I taped the small scallop (part of it) back into place so that only the larger scallop circle is 'cut out'. I measured this cut out piece of chipboard so that it is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches making sure that the 'cut out' piece (hole) was basically centred.
I then taped the chipboard template to the top of the 'Multi Purpose Platform' for the big shot (you know that white base piece with the 2 flip Tabs that go under the small sizzlets...make sure the 'flip' tabs are closed). ALSO , insert a small piece of cardboard from any DSP package as a shim, under one of those flip Tabs. Next, place your embossing folder (with the cardstock inside it) on top of the chipboard. And lastly top it off with a standard cutting board....and run it through the big shot.
You can emboss either a card front piece alone or the front of a whole card depending on whether you tape the chipboard down vertically or horizontally."
